PARTY SINGER IN CHORLTON
Lester Barr from 'The Genesis Appeal' was looking to hire a confident Chorlton Party Singer, to provide excellent party entertainment for a fundraising night in Chorlton, Manchester. The aim of 'The Genesis appeal' was to raise enough money to build Europe's first breast cancer prevention centre. This event was one of many significant fundraisers and so 'The Vocal Show' was donated to help their cause. Their requirements were quite simple. As a Party Singer in Chorlton I was to provide a night of music and memorable entertainment. My first Show consisted of a mixture of easily listening and Pop music, with the second Show being much more upbeat, including many of the old favourites. My role as a Party Singer at the start of the evening is the same as that of a Wedding Singer - to create a pleasant atmosphere for all guests, where as this changes somewhat later on, once all fundraising has finished. The main goal then was to get everyone on the dancefloor and start with the real Party Music.
